More about me

My mother is my inspiration. Our family research started with her in the 1970’s, “boots on ground”, traveling the west coast, researching local records, speaking to oral historians, and accessing the LDS genealogical archives by hand.

I have personally been researching family history for about 2 decades and collaborated research with my mother up to her death in 2024. I have had the honor of inheriting her extensive research and physical resources.

I am a member of the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR), Colonel Fielding Lewis Chapter, Fredericksburg, VA. I am also working on my own memberships in other genealogical societies.

On the right is my grandfather, Albert Crossman Holman (1900-1962), on the left is his best friend and my father's uncle, Bill Carter. (circ. 1920's)
